Person

I studied Environmental Sciences at the University Koblenz-Landau, Campus Landau with a focus on Ecotoxicology, Applied Ecology and Biodiversity. I received in 2008 my diploma for the thesis on the effects of pesticide drift on phytophagous insects. This was a literature review with a focus on grasshoppers and butterflies (more Info).
In 2009 I started my PhD Study at the Institute of Environmental Sciences at the University Koblenz-Landau, Campus Landau.

Research Interests

My research is concerned with the effects of agrochemicals in the agricultural landscape, with a focus on the effects of pesticides and fertiliser on plant and animal communities in field margins. I’m also interested in the cumulative effects due to mixtures of various pesticides and the application sequences of pesticides and fertilisers on a field.

Current Research Projects

  • The influence of pesticides and fertiliser on the fauna and flora of a surrogate field margin (more Info)
