I gained my bachelor degree in Industrial Chemistry from University Malaysia Sabah. I started a Master of Science in the field of Ecotoxicology in University of Koblenz-Landau and in summer of 2011, I did my internship for Aquatic team for BASF SE in Limburgerhof.  In the same year,  I had the chance to volunteer myself to help at the SETAC Germany.  In order to gain more experience in the field of ecotoxicology, I made an extra internship in Eurofins Agroscience Services EcoChem  GmbH in summer of 2012.

As the first foreign master student here, I am actively helping new international students especially from the same discipline to get settle down for the course. This got me a DAAD prize in year 2013 “hervorragende Leistungen an ausländische Studierende”  - excellent services to foreign students. I joined the collaboration study between University Koblenz-Landau and Thor GmbH on the effect of phosphorus flame retardants (PFRs) to the growth of unicellular algae Desmodesmus subspicatus, which will became part of my master thesis. At the present moment, I am finishing on my master thesis.

Research interests

My research interest is mainly on terrestrial Ecotoxicology especially after my internship focusing in bees. Yet, I favour an interdisciplinary task.  My master thesis is dealing with studying the effect of organophosphate flame retardands to Desmodesmus subspicatus.
