The Faculty for Natural and Environmental Sciences consists of four institutes. Each institute follows its own research topics:


Institute for Mathematics: Didactics and Applied Mathematics

Institute for Environmental Sciences: Ecosystems and anthropogenic stressors: coupling of water-land ecosystems

Institute for Natural Sciences Education: Didactics and alternative learning places for natural sciences

Institute for Sport Science: Interface between training and education.

The institutes are subdivided into working groups with a broad range of research interests.
