How to apply

The University Koblenz-Landau is a member of uni-assist. The main task of uni-assist is the evaluation of international school/university certificates in regard to their equivalence to German school/university degrees. University applicants who have obtained their higher education entrance qualification/first degree outside of Germany must apply via the uni-assist portal. uni-assist forwards the application to the University Koblenz-Landau after the evaluation.

Please note that the application process depends on your current status as a student.

Please send your application directly to the Referat Internationale Zusammenarbeit at the University of Koblenz-Landau. Along with your application please send us a copy of the inspection document of uni-assist, an "Unbedenklichkeitsbescheinigung" from the university where you are enrolled currently and a transcript of records. Please send your documents by mail to:

Please send your application directly to uni-assist. Please note that you need to pay a processing fee for the online application. You are also required to send a signed copy of your application by mail to uni-assist:

Please note:

Admission at the University Koblenz -Landau can only be granted after the timely submission of all documents in the required form and payment of the processing fee. As of  March 1, 2018, the fee for the first desired course of study amounts to 75.00 EUR, and to 30.00 EUR for each additional desired course of study.

Decisive for timely submission is the “received-by” date indicated by uni–assist, not the postmarked date. Please note that applications that are not received by mail before the deadline or are incomplete are not considered for approval.
