City tour

Discover Koblenz, one of the oldest cities of Germany! Situated in the picturesque landscape of the rivers Rhine and Moselle Koblenz has nowadays more than 110 000 inhabitants and more than 130 different nationalities. A German student shows you around the most beautiful places. After the city tour we will have a coffee or a cocoa in a coffee house.

Presentation "How to survive German Academia!"

The new international students will learn in the presentation "How to survive German Academia!" of Ms. Susanne Kämmerer everything about the appropriate behavior and mental attitude at German universities as well as what is expected from them in seminars and lectures. The participation is mandatory!

Trip to Government Bunker & Christmas Market in Ahrweiler

The former bunker of the federal government opened its gates as a museum. An extensive documentation and many original objects in combination with the original scene inform the visitors about German history.

Afterwards we want to visit the Christmas Market  in the old town of Ahrweiler, surrounded by an 800-years-old city wall.



Excursion to Bonn

Visit Bonn, the former capital of Germany, a modern, lively and cosmopolitan city with a history of over 2.000 years. The excursion includes a visit of the museum “House of History of the Federal Republic of Germany” and a guided city tour.


Excursion to Strasbourg

The French city of Strasbourg is located about 90 km south of Landau. Our international students will be able to take part in an excursion to this beautiful city, including a guided city tour in English. They will have the opportunity to explore the French culture, walk through the historic city and take a look at the cathedral, famous landmark of Strasbourg, and visit Strasbourg's Christmas market.

Excursion to Heidelberg

Our international students have the opportunity to visit the city of Heidelberg. They are able to stroll through the picturesque city center and visit the famous castle which dates back to the 13th century and provides a beautiful view on the city and the Neckar River. Our international students can also take part in a guided city tour in English in order to get to know the city from the perspective of a local.

Excursion to Karlsruhe

Students take part in a guided tour of Karlsruhe palace, can walk the city of Karlsruhe and have the chance to go ice-skating (not included in participation fee) in front of the castle.
