Informatik (Master of Science)

The research-oriented Master’s degree program in Informatik builds on the Bachelor’s degree program in Informatik or the Bachelor’s degree program in Computervisualistik. It is aimed at prospective students who wish to extend their academic skills, hone their qualification for executive positions by developing their profile and continue with their personal development following the successful conclusion of a Bachelor’s degree program.

In addition to expanding specialized knowledge, the degree program enables students to develop their independence and their judgment and decision-making skills and offers courses on team and leadership training and project management together with research internships. ‘Mobile Systems Engineering’, ‘Data & Knowledge Engineering’ and ‘Software Engineering’ are available as specialization subjects.

Graduates with a Master’s degree in Informatik can apply for admission to a doctoral degree program. The professional association BITKOM sees excellent career prospects for graduates of this program who wish to enter the professional world.
