Application Degree Courses
The University of Koblenz-Landau has all applications (Bachelor and Master degree programs) of international students who acquired their university entrance level certifications or academic degrees abroad pre-checked by UNI-ASSIST, the "Application Services for International Students".
Uni-Assist charges a fee for examining your documents. Information on payment and bank acoount details can be found here.
For your application for admission, you are required to submit officially certified copies (pdf-file) of your degree and transcripts of records, along with an official translation if the documents were issued in any language other than German, English or French.
International applicants send the application form and the relevant documents not to the university but to

Use the advantages of the Uni-Assist online portal for university applicants.
Please always submit certified copies of your original certificates and of the translations. Never send originals!
Public authorities holding a seal are entitled to issue certified copies, in Germany for example all public services, notaries, municipal authorities (Stadtverwaltung). Health insurance agencies or associations, however, are not entitled to issue certified copies.
In foreign countries certified copies may be obtained by all German official representatives (Embassy/Consulate), notaries or, in some cases, also by universities.
The following requirements are necessary for a copy to be recognized as certified true copy, e.g. that the copy corresponds to the original (see sample below):
• Endorsement that the copy is identical with the original (Beglaubigungsvermerk)
• Signature of the certifier
• Official seal stamped on the copy
