Frankfurt, Cologne/Bonn, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt-Hahn (RyanAir)
Airports Frankfurt, Cologne/Bonn, and Dusseldorf have own train stations; there are many direct trains to Koblenz. For RyanAir flights, there are coach connections (see RMV and Bohr timetables and prices). All mentioned airports have also car rental stations.

Pre-booked Cab Transfer to/from Airports Frankfurt, Cologne/Bonn, Frankfurt-Hahn (Ryanair)* Costs are about 80-100 Euro per trip. Traveling time (without traffic jam) is between 40 minutes (Frankfurt-Hahn) and 70 minutes (Frankfurt Airport).

Bus services

From city center or main train/coach station: bus service #5 for Metternich/Uni (alight at /Oberweiher-UNI/) or service #20 for Rübenach via Metternich (alight at /Winninger street/). The bus #20 is substantially faster, but does not operate on weekends. You can buy single and 1-day tickets directly from the bus driver. 7-day tickets and prepaid transponder cards are available from service desks at major bus stops (e.g. main station, Löhr-Center).
