WeST co-organises SAMT 2010 - the 5th International Conference on Semantic and Digital Media Technologies

Dr. Marcin Grzegorzek co-organises (together with  Thierry Declerck and Michael Sintek, DFKI Saarbrücken) the 5th International Conference on Semantic and Digital Media Technologies (SAMT) which will take  place in Saarbrücken from 1st to 3rd December 2010.

The conference offers a scientific platform bringing  together the leading researchers from the fields of  Semantic Web, Multimedia and Signal Analysis. It targets scientifically valuable research tackling  the semantic gap between the low-level signal data  representation of multimedia material and the high-level meaning that providers, consumers, and prosumers  associate with the content.
