University Koblenz-Landau participates in world-wide research network for networked knowledge
Research network Net2, A Network for Enabling Networked Knowledge
The World Wide Web bridges between continents and provides people with knowledge at a global scale. However, there remains the challenge of how to use all this knowledge at an increasing level of utility. The newly funded research network Net2, A Network for Enabling Networked Knowledge, includes universities and research institutes from 9 countries of 4 continents. Researchers from Koblenz will investigate how the interconnection of knowlege improves global cooperation.
Net2 is funded by the European Commission. It involves academics from the following locations: Galway (Ireland), Bolzano(Italy), Vienna (Austria), Koblenz (Germany), Delft (The Netherlands), Santiago (Chile), Rio de Janeiro (Brasil), Pretoria (South Africa), Shanghai (China).
