Agile Development Using Example Embedding

Test driven development and refactoring are the bread and butter practices of
the agile developer. But are there more? We describe an ongoing empirical
study aimed to characterize the use of Example Embedding (EE) in agile software
development in order to enrich the agile developer vocabulary and increase her
productivity. The research uses a unique perspective based on a theoretical
framework called software activity - a collection of fine grained techniques,
which together assemble an abstract key notion in software development. We
describe the agile aspects of EE and investigate its contribution for the
development process and programming practices.
