Working Group Active Vision
About us
The working group "Active Vision" (AGAS) was founded in spring 2002 by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dietrich Paulus.
With the subject Analysis of Image Sequences the application-independent activities of the working group are the following:
- Optimization
Methods and tools for optimization of event-driven process chains and its parameters - Knowledge-based Analysis
Explicit use of knowledge (e.g. in terms of databases) for image analysis - Active Vision
Active adjustment of sensor technology for determined troubleshooting - Software Architectures for Image Processing
Object-oriented architectures for fast and efficient image processing
The scientific tasks and teaching activities are performed in close collaboration with the Image Recognition Laboratory (Prof. Dr. Lutz Priese), the Institute for Software Technique (Prof. Dr. Jürgen Ebert) and the Working Group ISWeb (Prof. Dr. Steffen Staab).
