Robot Lisa

Lisa is the autonomous service robot of team homer@UniKoblenz. She participates at the RoboCup competition in the @Home League. Since her first participation in 2008 at the RoboCup German Open Lisa was able to qualify each year for the RoboCup World Championship. Since 2008 she repeatedly ranked among the best teams and received the Innovation Award at the RoboCup 2010 in Singapur. 

The cleaning and disposal robot GiGo is Lisa's companion since 2011. He operates either autonomously or according to Lisa's orders.

Student's Projects

The Active Vision Group offers practical courses for students where the abilities of Lisa are further extended. For historical reasons, these projects are named Robbie. In the scope of these courses the students design, develop, and test new software components and try out new hardware setups. The practical courses are supervised by a research associate. Team homer@UniKoblenz

Each year new students participate in the practical courses and are engaged in the development of Lisa. These students form the team homer@UniKoblenz to participate at the RoboCup@Home. homer is short for home robots and is one of very few participating teams that entirely consist of students.
