This study presents the implementation of the DMFCam : a real-time object tracking and self adjusting camera system on its software and technical levels. The target environment is a winter sports scenario with two persons involved. One is acting as camera-man with the DMFCam mounted on his helmet, the other one acts as the object to be tracked. The purpose of this project is to create a supportive camera system in the field of professional or amateur video recording focused on sports scenarios. Therefore the camera is supposed to not loose the object out of sight. The detection of the object is performed via image processing using an a adapted color tracking algorithm. The orientation of the camera is modied using two actuators mounted between helmet and camera.
