IPCV 2011 in Koblenz

The Intensive Programme on Computer Vision will take place at the Campus Koblenz from Februrary 27th to March 13th, the hightime of the Carnival in Rhineland-Palatinate.

IPCV 2011 is organized by Prof. Priese from the Institute of Computational Visualistics at the University of Koblenz-Landau in Koblenz. IPCV is a compact course on Computer Vision focused on colour. Partner universities are:

  • University of Lappeenranta, Finland
  • University of Joensuu, Finland
  • Budapesti Mûszaki Fõiskola (Budapest Tech), Hungary
  • Université Jean Monnet, France

We are discussing at the moment if the Universidad de Sevilla in Spain will join the IPCV partners. IPCV has started in 1996 in Koblenz and thereafter took place

  • 1998 in Granada, Spain
  • 2000 in Lappeenranta, Finland
  • 2002 in Koblenz, Germany
  • 2004 in Saint-Etienne, France
  • 2006 in Budapest, Hungary
  • 2008 in Joensuu, Finland
