E-Business Ventures
Summer Academy Course
Google, FaceBook, StudiVZ, or YouTube are famous examples of how to make money out of an initial business idea. However, these are just the famous examples. There are many other successful start-ups, especially in the area of small and medium sized firms. Beside the size of their success, these kinds of firms have one thing in common: they are driven mainly by the character of the founder and an innovative idea. The combination of both forms the term Entrepreneurship. Reflecting the growing importance of the global marketplace and the increasing number of business opportunities, this course offers insights into founding sustainable firms out of an innovative idea through entrepreneurship and into managing their growth. Methodically we will make use of case studies and success stories from different industries as well as theoretical frameworks and proven concepts.
