(Mobile Applications Laboratory) The mobile Applications Laboratory (MAppLab) is part of the workgroup "Corporate Communication Systems", dealing with cooperate information systems. Our current research areas include:
We conceptualize and develope special mobile value added services, which can be used over different mobile networks (WLAN, GSM, UMTS). For this, we apply marketable end user devices (e.g. cellular phones, PDAs) and implement specially designed software solutions. In common practice, these are services connected to the internet, so that users may decide over which channel they want to access the system.
