The Business Software Research Group (led by Professor Schubert) is engaged in research in two interrelated areas: the application and integration of business software (especially ERP and CRM-systems); and collaborative technologies (groupware, Enterprise 2.0).

Prof. Dr. Susan P. Williams for two years as a visiting professor in the department of computer science
With the aim of increasing internationalization of education in Germany, the DAAD has awarded a two-year visiting professorship to Prof. Dr. Susan P. Williams. The England national has conducted research and taught at various top universities in Australia for the last 14 years. She is the author of numerous articles in international journals. Her research area is in Enterprise Information Management. In her last position at the University of Sydney, she founded the Information Policy and Practice Research Group and was Director of Doctoral Studies.
