Cor Wit professor

Prof. Dr. J. F. Hampe has been appointed by resolution of the Executive Board of Delf University of Technology on July 7th, 2009 as 'Core Wit professor' in the academic year 2009/2010 at the faculty of Technology, Policy and Management.

The Cor Wit chair is awarded to internationally renowned researchers in the field of telecommunications, who focus on telecommunications research questions at the interface of technology and society. The Cor Wit chair was established in 2003, in honour of this former CEO of Royal KPN N.V., who oversaw the privatization of the company (the former State Telegraph Service in the Netherlands).
