Research Group eGovernment

The research group eGovernment investigates various aspects of ICT usage in the public sector. On the one hand questions of different technologies are analyzed. On the other hand one looks from a multidiscipline perspective, in order to understand and arrange the different connections between organization, humans and technology. This provides an holistic entrance on eGovernment.

Students are integrated in the project and research work by project-related training meetings. Furthermore they are participating in organizational and requirements analyses, in the modelling, introduction, and evaluation of application systems as well as in the form of dissertations, diploma, master and bachelor studies. The eGov LivingL@b provides an excellent environment for such works - paired with research oriented innovation!

Prof. Dr. Maria A. Wimmer furthermore co-organises the International EGOV Conferences as main organizer.
