Teilnahme, Bewerbung und Kontakt / Participation, Application and How to Contact Us

  • If you are a PhD student or Postdoc in the humanities or natural, social or technical sciences, you can participate at the Trifels Summer School 2019.  The only precondition is an interest in the topic and a (potential) link to your own work and professional training. All participants will receive the Certificate of the Trifels Summer School at the end, which will be provided by the University of Koblenz-Landau.
  • Up to 20 persons can participate for free, which includes room and board in the Kurhaus Trifels for the time of the Summer School (see Program).  Accommodation is generally provided in double rooms with two people of the same sex, in exceptional cases accommodation will be possible in single rooms. About two weeks before the Summer School starts the organizational team will inquire on preferences concerning accommodation and meals.
  • Participants have only to cover their travel expenses for getting to and leaving from the venue on their own or from other sources. It is possible to come by car, sufficient free parking is available at the venue, or by train, in which case a shuttle service can be arranged from the railway station (Bahnhof Annweiler) to the Kurhaus and back. About two weeks before the Summer School starts the organizational team will inquire on details concerning the travel arrangements (for more details on how to get to the venue, visit the website of the Kurhaus Trifels).
  • Basis for a participation is a short application (final deadline is 19 August 2019). Be aware that participation is immediately granted on a first-come-first serve basis for all qualified applicants (for more details, see Application below).
