Are you currently working towards your PhD degree and asking what should you do afterwards? That was the question I asked myself, too. Maybe a science-oriented startup or self-employment is your next goal?
Let's figure it out during this interactive workshop, which was created specifically, though not only for international early career researchers. By sharing my own PhD story and experience in setting up a startup in Germany, you will acquire knowledge that can be applied for your doctoral path and beyond.
Using a digital white board, we will be brainstorming on how to shape your own strategic plan to get your PhD done and figure out whether a startup afterwards is an option for you. From a perspective of an international doctoral candidate and later a postdoc, I will share with you what skills, resources and thinking processes are needed in order to succeed in both, PhD and potential forthcoming startup.
