The series of events "Research and PhD in Germany" focuses on the needs of international PhD candidates and postdocs at the University of Koblenz-Landau. Various topics and conditions of researching and living in Germany are introduced and discussed during the events.
The event "First impressions of the German language in scientific matters" offers the opportunity to learn more about important linguistic and structural items relevant to your studies. It also offers information about important vocabulary as well as grammatical structures and specificities of the German language one is likely to encounter as a PhD candidate or postdoc at a German university. Furthermore, the course offers the opportunity for networking and exchange between the participants, as well as for everyone to bring, discuss, and resolve individual problems they have encountered.
