Being one of our partner institutions, the University of Sunderland offers an excellent opportunity to participate in the Exchange Programme. Within the ERASMUS programme students who plan their stays abroad at Sunderland are not required to pay any tuition fees; however, they have to be nominated or recommended by a faculty member at the University Koblenz-Landau. Application Process and Dealines

 

Application for the Erasmus Exchange with the University of Sunderland, UK

Academic Year: September 2018 - December 2019/July 2019

In order to apply for the Erasmus Exchange for this academic year, please submit the following:

 1. Cover letter addressed to Prof. Dr. Michael Meyer stating:

      • your complete address (incl. phone number)
      • your academic interest
      • your competences
      • motivation to attend that particular university, or a list of priorities of universities
      • courses of partner university you are interested in that you need for Koblenz (see: http://www.sunderland.ac.uk)
      • name of one staff member willing to provide reference if needed
      • list of universities applied to with priorities 

2. CV (including interests and extra-curricular activities)

      • contact details (name, address, email, phone number)
      • name of faculty member for reference

3. List of all the courses that you have already successfully completed (transcript from KLIPS with grades) and will probably have completed before you leave in August/September

4. The official ERASMUS application (download from website of International Office)

5. Application Deadline: January 15, 2018

 

After Your Stay Abroad

We need to finalise the recognition of your courses for your degree and for the Erasmus+ funding. Please bring the following forms and fill in as much as you can where necessary:

      • your learning agreement
      • transcript
      • exams or copies of the exams if you want to keep them
      • cover sheets for the modules you need
      • the Erasmus certificate of recognition
