Research approach

Research is central to our activities at the Research Group of Logistics, Technology and Innovation Management (LTI) helping us to uphold our various activities concerning business development, teaching, and (future) research.

We aim to provide an environment and infrastructure that is conducive to quality research. Research assistants are admonished to extend their international experiences by visiting faculties from other leading research schools in North America and Europe. Students, both undergraduate and graduate are supported by conducting their research (e.g., in forms of Bachelor or Master Theses).

Although we are a relatively young research group with a reputation to be built, we are actively involved in research and continue to publish our research results in leading national (i.e., German language) and international journals. Our research interests are broad and varied. Specific areas of expertise include:

  • Innovation Management
  • Open Innovation
  • New Product Development
  • Entrepreneurship
  • Organizational Learning
  • Absorptive Capacity
  • Open Source Software Development
  • Online Reputation Management
