Stefan Ivens, M.Sc.

Research Associate

 

Stefan Ivens worked from 2001 until 2005 for the Altana Chemie AG as an IT Specialist in System Integration.

He studied Information Systems at the University of Applied Science in Ingolstadt (2006 to 2010), meanwhile he worked for the Daimler AG and Siemens IT Solutions and Services. In his bachelor thesis he analyzed the IT governance model of the Deutsche Telekom AG with regard to the COBIT framework. Later he studied information management at the University of Koblenz-Landau and at the Università degli Studi di Roma "La Sapienza". Concurrently, he developed the IT strategy of the fire department of Rhineland-Palatinate. In his master thesis he developed a model to measure personal reputation competence while focusing on Web 2.0.

After receiving his master’s degree in March 2012, he has joined the Institute for Management of the University of Koblenz-Landau. Stefan was part of the team who wrote the „Accelerating Entrepreneurship“ approach which finally got the award „EXIST- Gründungskultur- Die Gründerhochschule“ of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology of Germany. This project is funded with 1.7 m for three years.

Stefan was nominated for the best paper award for his dissertation proposal at the Doctoral Colloquium of the European Academy of Management (EURAM) 2014.

His current research focuses on corporate reputation, personal reputation and organizational citizenship behavior.
