1. Lecture
Course Description
Business Process Management (BPM) is a management paradigm for enterprises of all sizes as well as for public authorities. In the manufacturing industry BPM has been established for more than 100 years now whilst it is a relatively new approach in service companies. This course focuses on BPM methods and tools that can be used in office environments.
The course aims to provide graduates with the necessary basic skills and theoretical background to successfully operate in BPM environments. It brings together different business areas such as strategy, information and technology management and provides a critical and practical introduction to the theories, models, frameworks, tools and techniques for designing sustainable BPM initiatives.

Credit points (ECTS): 3
Examination: exam (14.2., 10h s.t.)
