ECESIS ---  EDUCATIONAL CENTERS' NETWORK ON MODERN TECHNOLOGIES OF LOCAL GOVERNING, 144742-TEMPUS-1 -2008-1 -DETEMPUS-JPHES will be funded by the EU from mid-Januar 2009 for two years.

DIUS ---  DEVELOPMENT AND INTEGRATION OF UNIVERSITY SELF-ASSESSMENT SYSTEMS   510950-TEMPUS-1-2010-1-DE-TEMPUS-SMGR will be funded by the EU from October 2010 ffor two years.

DEQUE ---  DEVELOPMENT OF  QUALITY ASSURANCE  SYSTEM IN TURKMENISTAN ON  THE  BASE OF  BOLOGNA  STANDARDS  510959-TEMPUS-1-2010-1-DE-TEMPUS-SMGR will be funded by the EU from October 2010 for two years.

Recently completed:

The most important projects of recent years were the EU-funded projects FIRMA and SICSS.

SocSimNet was funded by the EU (Leonardo da Vinci Program) from October 2004 till March 2006.

SMOOTH was funded by the EU (TEMPUS TACIS program) from September 2004 till November 2006.

Traffic was funded by the DFG (German Science Foundation) from autumn 2004 till autumn 2007.

Confluentic was an industry project devoted to optimising transport and inventory cost (closed in early 2007).

MBR was a project that we advised in terms of multi-agent simulation.

TRIBAR --- Transcontinental Bridge: Regional Training Centers for Spreading Modern Information Technology of Governing" was aimed at building up regional training centers for local administrators in Turkmenistan but had to be cancelled for administrative problems.

NZSocSim was funded by Marsden Fund / The Royal Society of New Zealand from autumn 2004 until 2009.

EMIL --- "Emergence in the Loop" --- was devoted to simulate the emergence of norms in social systems such as co-operation networks. It was funded by the European Commission from September 2006 to October 2009.

Given the number of projects we are currently involved in there are no new applications.

Others:

BEIPSA is a continuous activity in which we offer consultancy.

SEUV supports the administration of our university in information systems applications.

MIMOSE was originally funded by DFG (the German national science foundation) from 1988 till 1992, and we still maintain the simulation software that was implemented during that project.
