  • Appearance of soil water repellency in its dynamics and spatial heterogeneity and its physical and chemical causalities
  • Cross-linking effects of multivalent cations on supra-molecular structure of soil organic matter and their influence on sorption- and desorption and on wetting behaviour of soil
  • The role of chemical root mucilage characteristics for their physical properties
  • Plant root-soil interaction via root mucilage with respect to storage and transport of water within the rhizosphere
