In his thesis he investigated the influence of individual perceptions as well as the specific configuration of the work environment in the context of firm internal innovation contests. In his empirical studies he collaborated with the product house of a German DAX30 company, and with a solution provider for it-based innovation contests. Furthermore he analyzed the best practices of 18 large firms across Europe with regard to their experiences with such modern innovation management approaches.

Since 2013, Björn Höber is working as research associate for the EXIST IV-Project Accelerating Entrepreneurship and, among other things, he is responsible for the introduction of an innovation management platform, called the “Idea Campus”.

Prof. von Korflesch, the colleagues from ZIFET and the team of Gründungskultur congratulate him on this success.
