Research & transfer

Around 140 people (professors, research assistants and research support staff) are currently teaching and researching in the department. The department is characterized by various interdisciplinary and cooperative research work that has grown over the years. We cultivate and appreciate cooperation with the region at least as much as our international partners.

We train future specialists and executives, particularly in the MINT area, in independent and interdisciplinary courses both at the university and in cooperation with the university.

A correspondingly wide range of technical infrastructure and the associated methods is available. If necessary, this can be used under suitable framework conditions.
