Research
The research of the MI²EO working group is focused on contributing to an "Economic Theory on Organizational and Information Technology". Our central focus is on issues which link various scientific disciplines, such as information and innovation management, entrepreneurship, and organization. These four disciplines play an important role in an open innovation process.
The aim of the research is to contribute to an informative and design-oriented theory of organizational change in open innovation processes, through scientifically- based processing of managerial issues in the areas of information and innovation management, entrepreneurship, and organizational balancing.
In particular, this results in a variety of inter-related research fields that are described in detail below.
