André Schneider


André is a research assistant at the University of Koblenz-Landau in the Department of Computer Science since 2017. In the years 2015 and 2017 he completed both his Bachelor and Master studies in Information Systems with honors at the University of Koblenz-Landau.
His main focus during his studies was on application systems, information management and data mining. Already during his studies he gained first experiences as a researcher through participation in various research projects at the university as well as in business through internships in medium-sized companies. In addition, he was involved as a spokesman for his student association, as a student representative in the faculty council of the Department of Computer Science, as a supervisor for international students and as a Junior Consultant in the student consultancy KoUnity.
From July 2017 until April 2018 he headed a project in the field of internationalization and digitization of study programs as project coordinator under Prof. Dr. Harald von Korflesch. In April 2018 André joined the Competence Centre for the Assessment of Railway Diagnostic and Monitoring Technologies (CCRDMT) at ZIFET as a managing director. His research focuses on innovation management, predictive maintenance and organizational change.
