Visiting students are most welcome at our department und have several options for a semester abroad. For general information please visit the help pages by our international office.

Semester and lecture times

Our periods of lectures and lecture-free time are listed under dates and deadlines.

Examination dates

Written exams take place within the first three to four weeks after lecture periods (see link above). Written exam re-takes for students who failed the first try take place either shortly before the lecture period of the following semester or within the first three to four weeks after lecture period of the following semester.

Oral examinations as well as deadlines for written reports or home assignments are scheduled on an individual basis. For these we cannot provide generic dates. Please talk to your lecturers at the beginning of the semester about these exam dates.

Course Descriptions

Detailed module descriptions of all courses by our department (including learning outcomes, medium of instruction, contents, literature) are included in our module manual MOMA. If you are looking for details about a course listed in the timetables from above, just enter the ID unter "short text"/"Kurztext" (e.g. 04IN1014) in the search field of our module manual. 

"DE|EN" in the column "sprache" means that by default the course is given in German and will switch to English if international students participate.
