Aim
The aim of the Proseminar is to teach the principles of academic work. Therefore, students will work in-depth on a specific topic and report their findings in form of an academic report. Additionally, students have the chance to creatively present their findings in a poster.
Summary
The Proseminar will address the topic of IoT Domains (smart buildings, transportation, e-health). Participants in the Proseminar will select a specific IoT domain and explore it in depth and present their findings to the other participants of the Proseminar. Students will gain an in-depth understanding of a specific IoT domain as well as a broad understanding of other IoT domains.
The deliverables of the Proseminar will be twofold. Firstly, a research report on a specific domain must be created. Secondly, the participants of the Proseminar will create a poster which summarises the key findings of their selected IoT domain which will be presented to the Proseminar group and supervisors in a poster session. The posters created in this Proseminar will be published on the EIM Website. The best posters may also be printed and displayed on the campus.
The tasks to be performed in the Proseminar are as follows:
- Select, explore, analyse and report on a specific IoT domain in depth.
- Create a research report on your findings.
- Create a poster summarising your IoT domain.
- Present your poster in a poster session.
