Jun.-Prof. Dr. Dennis Riehle

Assistant Professor

Dennis Riehle is assistant professor and head of the research group Information Systems and Smart Data at the Institute for IS Research at the University of Koblenz-Landau since 01.04.2021. In addition, Mr. Riehle leads the Enterprise-of-Things Lab, which focuses on novel technology and information infrastructures in the area of the Internet-of-Things.

He completed his studies in Information Systems at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster, where he subsequently wrote his doctoral thesis on "Digitalisation and Automation of Compliance Management - A Model-based Method for Ensuring Business Process Compliance" and successfully completed it in November 2019. In the context of research projects, Mr. Riehle was a visiting scholar at the University of Sydney, Queensland University of Technology, and the University of Liechtenstein.

Dennis Riehle is (co-)author of more than 30 scientific publications. His research interests are in the area of Smart Data, in particular data management and data analysis, as well as in the area of Internet-of-Things (IoT), especially data acquisition by sensors and processing in suitable IT infrastructures.
