Prof. Dr. J. Felix Hampe

 Prof. Dr. J. Felix Hampe worked from 1995 to 2017 as a professor for "Business Communication Systems" at the University of Koblenz-Landau.
In addition to his teaching and research activities, he held the following positions: From 2001 to 2003 dean of Faculty 4: Computer Science, from 2005 to 2006 Vice Dean of Faculty 4: Computer Science, from November 2012 to mid 2015 Vice President for Studies, Finances, Planning and Organization of the university Koblenz-Landau on campus Koblenz and then until November 2016 Vice President for Studies, Teaching and Digital Infrastructure of the Koblenz-Landau University on campus Koblenz.

Two professorial appointments abroad complemented his academic career:
From 2004 to 2005 he was a full-time professor at the School of Computing and Information Science (CIS) at the University of South Australia in Adelaide, Australia.
From 2009 to 2010, Prof. Hampe held an endowed chair at Technical University of Delft, Netherlands, Faculty of Technology, Politics and Management, Information and Section Communication Technology. This Cor Wit Endowed Chair was sponsored by Royal KPN NV  and awarded annually to an international researcher to promote international cooperation.

Prof. Dr. Rüdiger Grimm

Prof. Dr. Rüdiger Grimm was Professor for IT Risk Management / IT Security in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Koblenz (endowed chair of the region) from 2005 - 2015. In addition to his teaching and research activities, he acted from 2008 - 2010 as Vice Dean and from 2011 - 2013 as Dean of Faculty 4: Computer Science.
He is still associated with his faculty in Koblenz in teaching and research.
In addition, Rüdiger Grimm has been a Fellow of the Society for Computer Science since September 2010 and continues to work as a scientific advisor and ombudsman for "Good Scientific Practice" at the Fraunhofer Institute for Secure Information Technology (SIT) in Darmstadt. Since 2018 he has been the data protection officer of the Christian Morgenstern primary school in Darmstadt and at the same time trains students as an auxiliary teacher for "IT and attentive Internet use".

 Prof. Dr. Klaus G. Troitzsch

Klaus G. Troitzsch was first employed by the University of Koblenz-Landau  as a research assistant in the pilot project for the establishment of a course in "Applied Computer Science" and worked as a Post Doc at the Institute for Political Science at the University of Koblenz-Landau from 1980, finally from 1986, after his habilitation in Koblenz,  -and after the minor in Computer Applications in the Social Sciences was established in the computer science study programme, until his retirement in March 2012 as a professor of empirical methods in the social sciences, modelling and simulation.
In addition to teaching and research activities, he served the university as dean (1987 to 1992) and vice dean (1992 to 2000) of the Faculty of 4 Computer Science as well as member of various academic and administrative commissions and was head of the Institute of Information Systems Research from 2001 to 2005.
