The team of the Process Science group is committed to design-oriented research on key issues in corporate information and communication systems. In particular, we investigate technological aspects of Business Process Management. We develop methods, algorithms, models and tools that contribute to facilitating and rationalizing business processes. Current particular research topics are (Social) Process Mining, Predictive Process Monitoring, Business Rules Management, Intelligent Chatbots, Business Process Recommender Systems, and Ontology-based Process Engineering. The artifacts that we develop always aim to simplify and rationalize day-to-day operations in order to generate added value for the company and its customers as well as for its employees.
