  • Trophic ecology of aquatic ecosystems
  • Effects of (chemical) stressors (e.g. pesticides, nanoparticles, semiochemicals) in these environments

  • Effects of antimicrobial compounds on aquatic macroinvertebrates via bottom-up regulation (AQUA-REG); funded by German Research Foundation
  • Upper Rhine Trinational Graduate Academy Security-Risk-Orientation (SERIOR); funded by the European Union

Impact of organic and inorganic fungicides on leaf litter breakdown processes in streams mediated by decomposer-detritivore-systems (funded by the Scholarship Programme of the German Federal Environmental Foundation)
