I gained my bachelor degree in "Humanbiologie – Biomedical Sciences (B.Sc.)" at the Philipps-University in Marburg in 2010. After my bachelor degree I did an internship in Indonesia, at the NGO YASPEM in Maumere (Flores) with the topic "Integrated vector control of malaria and dengue fever with special emphasis on Bti".
In 2011 I started the master program "Ecotoxicology" at the University Koblenz-Landau, Campus Landau and finished with my master thesis "The impact of Bti-based mosquito control in seasonal wetlands on aquatic emergence and benthos" in October 2014. Since then I am PhD student and fellowship in "Aufland - Moscofee" (details here).

Research interest

- trophic interactions in wetland foodwebs

- aquatic emergence

- mosquito control in temporary wetlands

- non-target organisms

- terrestrial and aquatic ecotoxicology

Current research project

Moscofee - Mosquito control food chain effects

within this project labratory studies, mesocosms and field studies to assess direct and indirect effects of Bti-based mosquito control to non-target organisms.
