I study environmental science at the University Koblenz-Landau, campus Landau since WS 2006/2007. My major subject is ecotoxicology; my minor subjects are applied ecology as well as biodiversity and nature conservation.
In 2011 I had the chance to complete a two month internship at an ecotoxicological contract laboratory in Switzerland (Innovative Environmental Services Ltd) where I mainly worked with bees and non-target plants. From 2011 to 2012 I conducted my case study during a four month internship at BASF SE in Limburgerhof. The topic of the study was the development of a part-lifecycle reproduction test with the freshwater gastropod Lymnaea Stagnalis. Currently I am working on my diploma thesis.

Research Interest

My main research interest is mostly based on ecotoxicology, but since I see myself not only as an “Ecotoxicologist” but more as an “Environmental Scientist” I am also interested in other subjects like applied ecology or biodiversity and nature conservation.
