Person
I study Environmental Sciences at the University Koblenz-Landau, Campus Landau with the main subjects of Terrestrial Ecotoxicology and Applied Ecology. During my case study I investigated the differences of the nocturnal flying insect diversity between retention- ponds and neighbouring vineyard sites. This was part of a project that evaluated to what extent bats use artificial wetlands as foraging habitats in an agricultural landscape. Within this study I was concerned with the identification of the different insect classes.
Research Interest
My research interest is mainly based on Terrestrial Ecotoxicology, where I am especially interested in the effects of pesticides and fertilizer on the flora of a surrogate field margin in greenhouse tests.
