Since 2006 I've been studying Environmental Sciences at the University Koblenz-Landau, Campus Landau. My major field of study is Ecotoxicology. During two internships at the BASF Agricultural Centre in Limburgerhof, I gained practical experience in the development process of pesticides and the regulatory testing in aquataic and terrestrial compartments.

Research interest

My main focus of interest is in Terrestrial Ecotoxicology and Arthropod Ecology. Here I am especially interested in effects of herbicides on plant-insect interactions.

Current research project

Within the framework of my Diploma thesis, I’m investigating effects of different herbicides on host plant quality for caterpillars. (more Info)

First results were presented in a poster at the SETAC-GLB congress 2011 in Landau, Germany. (more Info)
The poster was awarded second prize at the poster-competion of the congress.
