Current Project

Currently, I am working as a research assistant in the AufLand research initiative. Among other projects, I am involved in the study of indirect effects of mosquito control on non-target organisms, especially chironomids, using metabarcoding.

Research interest

  • Adaptation of natural populations to anthropogenic stress
  • Evolutionary ecotoxicology
  • Adaptation genomics
  • Eco-evolutionary dynamics

Academic history

  • Since 2019: PhD student in the Research Training Group SystemLink, University of Koblenz-Landau.
  • 2017: Master of Science, Thesis: “Does fungicide exposure alter interspecific relationships of aquatic leaf – decomposing fungi? A case study using modern biochemical tools”.
  • 2010-2017: Studies in Environmental Sciences, University of Koblenz-Landau.

Teaching

Phylogenetic and Population Genetic Analysis (M13b.2, AÖK5b, EXT7)
