  • Geochemical and -physical processes in surface waters, particularly:
    • Greenhouse gas emissions (methane and carbon dioxide) from freshwater systems
    • Oxygen dynamics of rivers and lakes
    • Sediment-Water-Air fluxes in freshwater systems
  • Sediment transport in aquatic systems
  • Development of new methods to quantify methane ebullition rates
