Period: Aug 09, 2020 - Aug 09, 2020
Status: laufend

Mobile Health (mHealth) is defined by the World-Health-Organization as a term describing smartphone-based health-related interventions. Modern developments in mobil-technology offer significant advantages for the healthcare sector. This concerns the access to medical care, treatment costs and clinical outcome, especially in the context of chronic disease. Existing research indicates potential satisfactory acceptance and usage of mHealth-interventions. Empirically evaluated it offers a promising possibility to offer suitable and feasible to enhance medical care in the field of chronic pain. In the current project, we aim to develop and evaluate a smartphone application to support long-term treatment-outcome following multimodal pain treatment (“MMS”).
