About me

I obtained my diploma in psychology at the Philipps-University of Marburg in May 2015. From October 2015 to February 2018, I worked on my PhD thesis examining the role of dysfunctional expectation in major depression (supervisors: Prof. Dr. Winfried Rief, Prof. Dr. Julia Glombiewski). Since April 2018, I am working as a postdoctoral researcher in Dr. Glombiewski’s Pain & Psychotherapy Research Lab at the University of Koblenz-Landau.  Parallel to my scientific work, I started my psychotherapy training in Marburg in October 2015. In both my clinical and my scientific work I am focusing on the role of expectations, and try to optimize psychological interventions by using expectation effects clinically.
