Vietnamese Delegation visits ZIFET

A delegation of Vietnamese project partners visited the Central Institute for Scientific Entrepreneurship & International Transfer (ZIFET) on the 2nd of July 2018 in Koblenz to discuss further possibilities of cooperation.

Prof. Dr. Harald von Korflesch, Vice President and director of the ZIFET, welcomed fifteen professors and researchers from two Vietnamese universities in Ho Chi Minh City, from the National Economics University (NEU) and from the University of Economics and Laws (UEL). The delegation was headed by Prof. Dr. Nguyen Tien Dung, President of UEL.

The objective of the visit was to strengthen the existing relationship between NEU and the University of Koblenz-Landau (UNIKOLA) concerning the entrepreneurship, technology, and innovation management major (ETI-M) within the Master of Information Management. Since 2017 students from NEU have the opportunity to study at NEU and at UNIKOLA and obtain a Master degree from each university – a double Master degree in management.

Above this, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Tien Dung stressed the interest of UEL to discuss a potential collaboration in training and research between UEL and UNIKOLA. In a joint workshop with researchers from the working group for Management of Information, Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Organization (MI²EO) the delegation shared their ideas about ''The relationships between fast and sustainable economic growth and cultural development, social advances and equity in Vietnam: current situation and emerging issues''.
