How to apply




Applicants who already have been checked through uni-assist and who are studying in Germany already, can send their application directly to the Referat Internationale Zusammenarbeit at the University of Koblenz-Landau. Please send us along with your application a copy of the inspection document of uni-assist, an "Unbedenklichkeitsbescheinigung" from the university where you are enrolled currently and a transcript of records. Applicants who have already successfully passed a Studienkolleg apply directly via the university's application portal:

Please note that the online application to uni-assist is not free of charge; there is a processing fee. In addition, you are required to send a signed copy of your application by mail to uni-assist under the following address:

An admission to study at the University Koblenz -Landau can only be granted after the timely submission of all documents in the required form and paying the processing fee on time. As of 1 March 2018, the fee for the first desired course of study amounts to 75.00 EUR, and to 30.00 EUR for each additional desired course of study.

Decisive for timely submission is the “received-by” date indicated at uni–assist, not the postmarked date. Please note that applications that are not received before the end of the deadline by mail or are incomplete are not considered for approval.


  1. Verify that you meet the admission requirements of your chosen degree program
  2. Make sure that you can prove the required language skills with relevant certificates
  3. Send all required documents in electronic and printed form to uni-assist
  4. Pay your processing fee to uni-assist
  5. Receive the letter of admission from the University Koblenz -Landau for your studies and answer it.
  6. Look for accommodation in a dormitory or privately
  7. Book your flights
  8. Enroll at the student office at your campus after your arrival
