The University Koblenz-Landau is a member of uni-assist. The main task of uni-assist is the evaluation of international school/university certificates in regard to their equivalence to German school/university degrees. Whether you have to apply with uni-assist or directly with the university depends on which group of applicants you belong to:

Please apply directly via the university's application portal:

The following documents have to be attached to your application: the uni-assist evaluation report, an "Unbedenklichkeitsbescheinigung" from the university where you are currently enrolled at and a current transcript of records.

Please note that only certified copies of your official documents can be accepted.

University applicants who have obtained their higher education entrance qualification/first degree outside of Germany and who do not belong to any of the above mentioned groups apply directly via the uni-assist portal.. Please note that you need to pay a processing fee for the online application. Information on payment and bank account details can be found here. You are also required to send a signed copy of your application by mail to uni-assist:

Universität Koblenz-Landau
D-11507 Berlin

The process is as follows:

process uni.assist

Please note:

Applications can only be considered after the timely submission of all documents in the required form and payment of the processing fee. The fee for the first desired course of study amounts to 75.00 EUR, and to 30.00 EUR for each additional desired course of study.

Decisive for timely submission is the “received-by” date indicated by uni–assist, not the postmarked date. Please note that applications that are not received by mail before the deadline or are incomplete are not considered for approval.

If you are admitted to the study program, you will be provided with information regarding the further steps.

Please find a list of all required documents for uni-assist here.

Application deadlines are different for EU and non-EU applicants. Please see here for details.
