Information for PROMOS scholarship holders

All PROMOS scholarship holders are obliged to hand in the documents listed below and to document their stay abroad by writing an experience report. Please make sure to meet the respective deadlines. Also, please inform us as soon as possible in case you shorten your stay and receive a monthly scholarship.

After being accepted for the scholarship 

  •  Fill in the PROMOS scholarship agreement electronically. Print and sign it before sending the original back via mail.
  • If necessary, hand in any missing documents as stated in the letter of award.
  • Take care of appropriate insurance.

After arriving – within the first week

  • Have the Confirmation of Arrival signed by the contact person at the partner university/host institution and fax or email it to the address in the form. Alternative forms issued by the respective institution can also be accepted.

At the end of the stay – within 4 weeks

  • Have the Letter of Confirmation signed by the contact person at the partner university/host institution and fax or email it to the address in the form. Alternative forms issued by the respective institution can also be accepted

After returning – within 4 weeks

  • Send a copy of the Transcript of Records (study period abroad) or the Internship Certificate (internship) to the International Office. 
  • Write your Experience Report and email it to the address specified in the guidelines for writing the report.

As a PROMOS scholarship holder you are entitled to a scholarship certificate which can be used for future applications etc. You will receive your certificate from us after we have received all required documents from you (including the experience report) after the end of your stay abroad.
